I visited yesterday with my daughter, mother and 1 year old granddaughter for the first time in about 5years for a meal. To be honest the 'kids eat for a £1' was a puller as 1 year olds never eat full meals anyhow. But not sure how or what they eat for '£1 ! We ordered macaroni cheese bites for my granddaughter which when came looked and tasted like burnt greasy bits! When I complained I was told that's how they were and its the coating. They did then offer a replacement and was brought 4 chicken nuggets. My daughter had the new york sandwich with chicken so dry it was like string! My mother had scampi and chips which was okish. But fries and chips on all meals were cold. I ordered the southern fried chicken wrap which we all agreed was the nicest out of the 4 meals. Until. I found a long dark hair under what was left of the salad. Absolute disgusting. I asked for the manager and explained all my issues but to be honest felt like he was not really bothered. Maybe a common occurrence. He offered a refund on my meal plus one portion of chips. Def will not be returning or recommending

Cheap food but you only get what you pay for.
The service is not very fast either; even though the pub didn't look very busy when we went, we had to wait 30 minutes to get the food for a table of 2. (ordered Fish and chips which was very average and a medium rare steak that actually arrived well-done)
On a more positive side, the view from the back is very pretty, which does makes it a nice spot for a few drinks.
