Tynemouth Lodge Hotel

A single-room, no-frills traditional pub on Tynemouth Road dating back to 1799, with 40 consecutive years in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide for its real ales, Marston's Pedigree among them. There's no TV, music or gaming machines by design, just a woodland beer garden with a marquee and a welcome for both children and dogs. Despite the name, it's a pub rather than a hotel.
