Bennets was Scotland's longest-running gay nightclub, operating from 1980 at 80 Glassford Street in Glasgow's Merchant City. The club was known for its Hi-NRG and Euro beat music policy, attracting a predominantly gay clientele alongside many straight visitors. It hosted notable live acts including Sharon Redd, Sylvester, and Divine during its heyday. The venue has since permanently closed and the premises are now occupied by another bar.
