Love the food here & their chips are to die for! Proper thick chips with their skins on too lovely! However I've noticed just recently that they've become rather stingy with their portions sizes, I had Gammon & Chips the other day & it didn't fill the plate. Although the Gammon was rather the thick it was pretty small in size & there's no way it was a 10oz like was specified on the menu & I counted only 9 chips too albeit thick ones it left me still feeling hungry afterwards. Maybe it's a ploy to get you to buy a sweet afterwards!? It just leaves you feeling a little shortchanged, if I'm spending £7.45 on a pub meal I'd like it to fill me up no matter how nice the food is & unfortunately on this occasion it didn't!

Excellent quality pub! Suitable for families, couples, beer lovers, foodies...anyone! With superb quality food and great choice of beers, wines and spirits. We regularly frequent this place, especially on Sunday for a delicious Sunday lunch. There are also loads of offers each day of the week; curry & a pint, Thursday is a great quiz night, burger & a pint, fine wine Tuesday...the list goes on!

Be sure to check it out; well worth a visit!

The Runhead is a traditional pub run by friendly and efficient staff. The food is of an excellent quality as is its presentation and quantity! The steaks are delicious and cooked to perfection. Sunday lunches are a must for all the foodies out there - delicious and copious amounts. The environment is warm, with a contemporary feel. A MUST visit - don't miss out on this little gem!
