The food was excellent but the service left a lot to be desired.

Great food deserves a great atmosphere, so employ staff who can smile naturally, who actually look like they are pleased to see you.

Absolutely fab sunday lunches delivered - Hassle free homemade lunch with fresh veg, delicious roasties and Belter portion of meat x To make it even better finish off with a homemade pudding - I'd highly recommend the Traditional rice pudding and also the jam sponge and custard - I have just finished mine and as ever was faultless - Big Thanks and I will visit ur restaurant soon xx

We first tried Sopranos last Tuesday night for a pizza to our delight the pizza was amazing with a topping that actual filled the pizza to the edge, the staff were great and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Our waitress pointed out that they were doing a Valantine Special for £19.99 for three courses which included scallops, lobster and fillet steak. We were so impressed with our meal we decided to book and have been again tonight. Once again the meal was excellent the staff so friendly and nothing you asked for was a bother to them. I would certainly recommend this Restaurant to anyone. One thing to point out is it's cash only which wasn't a problem for us but I did see one gentleman having to dash to a cash machine.

Lovely food, quite cold on arrival but the microwave sorted that out no problem. Will order again. Quick delivery.

I have visited this restaurant numerous times since the refurb and would thoroughly recommend it. We eat out regularly, and although we live in Wallsend, would usually never choose to eat out in this area. Sopranos, however, is our exception. The restaurant is clean, and nicely decorated with a good atmosphere. The staff are friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Most importantly they have a really good chef, with a good selection of interesting daily specials. This certainly wouldn't be my first choice for a romantic meal with just my hubby, but a really nice family friendly restaurant, unexpected in Wallsend town centre!

Fantastic. We went to Sopranos on 11/08/10, place was very clean and posh for wallsend. We ordered a variety of food which was served very fast considering how busy it was, food was excellent as was our service very polite and friendly. Was nice that they catered for children aswell. 9 of us went most starters and mains lots of wine and beer and only cost us 130 pound as appose to other restaurants were we have spent that on 4 people. All in all this is a place that me and my family will be returning to. Thank u to our waiter Michael he was great.

Went Saturday 9th April - had just re-opened. Meal was great (as usual) and the place looks fantastic. Wine & beers are reasonably priced too. A meal for 4 (shared a starter) main course each, a bottle of wine, 2 beers & a coke came to £47. Can't complain! Would highly recommend it.

Haven't been since the refurb. It was a little tatty before but couldn't fault the food or prices. It is one of the few restaurants I've been to where a medium rare steak has been served medium rare! Large portions, very tasty. Friendly staff and quick service. It's a shame it isn't busier.
