Four of us went for the steak night. The food and service was excellent. Really nice feel to the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to a return visit.

Went for a meal on a recommendation from a friend - a big mistake. The roast chicken was a griddled butterfly breast, the chips were burnt and cooked in old fat, the fried egg to complement the gammon was burst and hard, both meals had a salad, we didn't order, with a very distasteful dressing on and to top that the potatoes, all two of them were cold. Went to McDonald's for a sweet and ate again when we came home.

Really love this pub. Food really good price, freshly made, lovely clean interior. Have been a number of times and cant fault it.

They have a 3 course special for £3.95 - soup or potato skins, any pizza or pasta followed by icecream or coffee. Delicious!

Pub is also child friendly with child changing, baby highchairs etc. Not a huge amount of choice in the childrens menu it has to be said which is probably the only down side. A childrens portion of the pasta or pizza dishes would be welcome.

Looking forward to trying steak night next week.

Top dog all round. Kids and the wife love it so it makes for an easy afternoon out.

Bad food and terrible service. If you eat at Asda then you might find the service exceptional.
