Me and my partner ate here 3 weeks ago. The food was disappointing, which i left after finding a TOE NAIL in it! To my stupidity i did not complain as the bar was quite full and i did not want to make a scene(regretting that now) My partner finished his meal and afew days later he was ill with vomiting and diarrhoea. After a week and a half of these symptoms, he visited his doctor and a sample confirmed food poisoning. This was the only place where we had recently ate and with finding the toe nail in my food it just shows that the kitchen area is definitely not a hygienic place. Public health/Environmental health are being informed.

The bar is nicely decorated, and thats about the best point. We went for lunch and was pretty disappointed with the food. On top of that we had to wait ages to be served (it wasn't busy) A young woman was serving, but seemed more interested in chatting to another colleague who was perched on a stool at the end of the bar. This woman (one on the stool) looked at us like we were something the cat dragged in. When we sat at a table the woman from the stool came over and asked if we were eating. She then went away, came back and told us there was no ticket for food. We hadn 't had a chance to look at the menu. Later found out the woman was called 'lesley'. She needs a lesson in customer service! A very rude woman!

recently had a 21st birthday party at the mile the room was lovely as was the bar staff but the buffet was disgusting and the DJ was absolutely appalling didn't speak all night and was very rude. Would never recommend it to anyone. Sandwiches were all dry, rice was horrible as was the pasta only nice thing was the chicken.
